Baritone Connor Rayman's family members knew early on in his life that he was born to be a vocalist. Connor would go around the house singing even before he could talk. Connor began realizing that he had talent as a vocalist in his 8th grade when his choir director singled him out for a solo and encouraged him to enter the school talent show. That was the first of many talent show wins for Connor. In 2018, Connor was selected to compete in the 6-week Taste of Talent Competition and won first place and a grand prize of $2000. Connor is a graduate of the world-renowned UNT Vocal Performance program. He has studied voice with baritones Jeffrey Snider, Jeff MacMullen and famous operatic tenor, Barry Craft, who was a very successful professional opera singer and winner of Luciano Pavarotti's very first competition to find the next great tenor. Connor had the privilege of performing duets and arias with Barry Craft in Dallas, TX. Connor has performed numerous roles with UNT opera including Krusina in "The Bartered Bride", City Marshall in "Street Scene", and First Priest in "The Magic Flute". Connor has also been a featured performer at Music City Mall in Lewisville where he entertained crowds with his versatile mix of jazz, opera, musical theater, adult contemporary, and oldies. Connor will be a featured vocalist at Shanghai Disneyland later this year.
Connor has a passion for music and a dream of sharing that passion with the world. His goal is to become a professional opera singer. He resides in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas area with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys supporting several local ministries, doing CrossFit, and watching hockey.
